Gen Z tunes out brands that advertise at them. A standard nugget relaunch would have been ignored by the exact audience we needed to reach.
INSIGHT
This audience doesn’t trust claims. It trusts scarcity. When something sells out, that’s proof it’s wanted. Streetwear and luxury drops had already taught them that language, so we decided to speak it.
IDEA
Instead of running a campaign, we ran a drop. Le Nuggette was a miniature purse with custom sauce charms, built to hold a single nugget. We shot it with fashion photographers and released it the way a real label would: 100 units a day for five days. We marketed it as fashion, not fast food.
IMPACT
It sold out in under 10 seconds every day, with tens of thousands of visitors at each drop. Fans filmed themselves racing to check out, and Complex and Hypebeast covered it. Burger King became part of a culture conversation it would never have reached through paid ads.
